I’m Zahra Abdulameer, the artist, designer, and founder of Ihsan Design Studio — and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. This space is more than just a creative studio — it’s a reflection of my heart, where my faith and creativity come together to bring beauty, purpose, and meaning.
With roots in Iraq, a childhood in Colorado, and now a home base in Michigan, my creative lens is shaped by a rich mix of cultures and experiences. I carry those influences with me in every project, honoring the stories and identities they represent.
Every piece I create, whether it’s a painting, a work of Arabic calligraphy, or a website design, is deeply rooted in the concept of iḥsān — spiritual excellence. This principle shapes every project I take on and guides every brushstroke, layout, and design decision.
In Islam, iḥsān teaches us to strive for beauty, sincerity, and excellence in everything we do, as if we are doing it for Allah. This philosophy is at the heart of my work, ensuring that every project is made with love, intention, and care.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with nonprofits, local businesses, and individuals, helping them bring their visions to life. Whether it's designing a brand identity or creating a custom piece of artwork, my goal is always to craft something meaningful and unique.
